The workshops are aimed at target groups of professionals coming from the fields of architecture, design, digital arts, as well as city authorities and stakeholders, interested in placemaking, empowering their professional skills in co-creation stages, and building their capacity to further attract diverse audiences by habit and by choice. The open workshops will be thematically linked to different aspects of the placemaking process, in particular:

  • Co-creation and gamification strategies to engage audiences (OR methodologies for participation, audience development definition and placemaking).
  • Advanced Technologies to boost community decision making & placemaking (OR application and the development of human computer interaction technologies for citizens participation)
  • Human-centred design for placemaking (OR activities to design, in the public space, the elements and the visual representation of the human space interaction
